How to use this calculator

Select the syringe
Choose the total capacity printed on your U-100 syringe: 0.3 mL, 0.5 mL, or 1.0 mL.
Capacity is not the same as units per mL. A U-100 syringe always represents 100 units per mL, whichever capacity it is. Selecting 0.3 mL does not change the arithmetic — it changes the maximum the syringe holds, which is 30 units, and the scale you see on the meter.

Enter the vial quantity
Enter the total peptide quantity printed on the official vial or pharmacy label. Pick a preset or enter your own number, in mg or mcg.
Read it twice and say the unit out loud. mg and mcg differ by a factor of one thousand and look nearly identical in small print.

Enter the diluent volume
Enter the actual amount of diluent that was added, or the amount directed by the dispensing pharmacy or a licensed healthcare professional.
Mathematically, more liquid produces a lower concentration and less liquid produces a higher concentration. That is a description of the division, not a suggestion about which to use — this calculator works from the figure you supply and does not indicate a volume of diluent.
